Position Summary - The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment/reassessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care for a described group of patients. Assist physicians in the planning, management, delivery and evaluation of care. Supervises and is accountable for care given by other staff members.

Qualifications - Current MS RN license, ACLS and NALS certifications required within six months of employment.

Work Schedule - 7p-7a Full-Time

Position Summary - The Acute Care Tech is responsible for providing personal care to patients under the supervision of nursing staff. Participates in support functions of the nursing unit, i.e., answering phones, running errands, transporting patients. Must attain/maintain skills applicable to primary area of assignment.

Qualifications - High school diploma or GED equivalent, college courses preferred. One year Acute Care Tech experience in an acute care or clinic setting preferred. Current CPR certification.

Work Schedule - 7a-7p Full-Time


Position Summary - The Critical Care Tech (Monitor Tech) performs under the direct supervision of the RN in ICU and is delegated assignments to achieve quality patient care; is involved in the implementation phase of the nursing process and is directly accountable to the Patient Care Director of the unit.  The Tech performs tasks assigned by the RN in an assistant role; these tasks require special training and competency validation through the education department.  In addition, the Tech must be able to perform nurse aide duties if the RN dictates.

Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED equivalent.  Must be a certified Monitor Tech.  Previous nurse aide or acute care tech experience.  Must pass a monitor skills test.  BCLS, and basic coronary care certification required.

Work Schedule - 7a-7p Full-Time and PRN Varied Shifts


Position Summary - The CAT Scan Tech is responsible for performing patient examinations and related activities in accordance with established protocols, demonstrates knoweledge of digital environment, reviews images prior to archiving to PACS and for submission to radiologists for interpretation, maintains patient records; assures the correct patient is being imaged in accordance to hospital protocols, performs QA/QC on equipment, maintains stocks/supplies, starts IV's and/or administers contrast as needed; demonstrates appropriate computer skills and has knowledge of the Radiation Safety ALARA principles and practices.

Qualifications - Graduate from an approved school of radiologic technology required.  One year preferred as a staff technologist.  CT scanning experience preferred.  Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.  Certified in CT preferred.  Must have current MS license.  Current CPR certification.

Work Schedule - Full-Time Days and PRN, varied shifts.


Position Summary - The Phlebotomist is responsible for receiving and processing all patients including but not limited to preparing all necessary paperwork accurately and timely, collects specimens accurately and timely, prepares accurate lab specimens for testing, files reports, reports results timely, assists personnel with any problems/concerns that might arise regarding results, paperwork or response times and assists with any overdue lab results.

Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED equivalent.  Phlebotomy Certification preferred or at least two years clinical Phlebotomy experience.  Minimum one year experience as a Phlebotomist with certification.

Work Schedule - PRN Varied Shifts


Position Summary - The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing, procurement, control and consultations involved with all medications and solutions dispensed from the Pharmacy.  Knowledgeable and capable of performing any pharmaceutical duty in the hospital pharmacy department and throughout the hospital. 

Qualifications - Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy from an accrediated school.  Prefer one year of experience in Pharmacy.  Current MS Pharmacy license and BCLS certification.

Work Schedule - Full-Time 7a-9p and PRN Varied Shifts


Position Summary - The Certified Pharmacy Tech is responsible for assisting the Staff Pharmacist in all duties related to the preparation, gathering, labeling, data entry and distribution of medications.  Maintains patient care unit drug supply carts, patient crash carts and restocking of routine medications.  Advises and assists the Staff Pharmacist with the order of new supplies and stocks the Pharmacy with the supplies. 

Qualifications -  High School Diploma or GED equivalent and courses in science or pharmacy.  MS State Board of Pharmacy registration is required.  National certification is required.  BCLS certification preferred.  Prefer one year of experience in Pharmacy.

Work Schedule - Full-Time 9:30A-6:30P and PRN Varied Shifts





Position Summary - The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) under the direction of the program psychiatrist provides pyscholgical assessments of patients and families to identify emotional, social and environmental strengths and problems related to their diagnosis, illness, treatment, and/or life situation.

Qualifications - Master or Doctor Degree in Social Work, licensed or certified as a clinical social worker by the State of Mississippi and have performed at least two years of supervised clinical social work.

Work Schedule - Days, Part-Time


Position Summary - The Manager of Health Information Management is responsible for all functions related to the Health Information Management Department working in an administrative, financial and clinical capacity relative to the implementation and monitoring of systems necessary for the Health Information Management Services; provides leadership in the hospital's enterprise document imaging and electronic health record systems and operations. 

Qualifications - At minimum, an associates degree in Health Information is required.  Excellent oral and written skills are a must.  Certification in a health information related field is required (RHIA, RHIT, CCS).  A minimum of three years experience in health information management leadership is required.  Experience in electronic health record management is required.  Must have a working knowledge and experience with information systems management, health information management and revenue cycle functions.

Work Schedule - Full-Time, Exempt


Position Summary - The Registrar is responsible for performing patient interviews to obtain current, correct information for accuracy in data entry in the computer system; explain hospital policies regarding co-pays, deductibles and self pay accounts; collects necessary payments and obtains the patient's signature on all relavant forms and assigns the patient to the designated room in conjunction with the nursing staff based on the nature of the illness.

Qualifications -  High School Diploma or GED equivalent.  Business college courses preferred.  At least six months of experience in Admitting.  Excellent communication, computer and office machine skills.

Work Schedule - PRN varied shifts
