Highland is a 95-bed, full service acute care medical facility. Serving as Pearl River County's only acute care medical facility, Highland is a comprehensive community health care facility offering a wide range of medical specialties and state-of-the-art technology.
Highland Community Hospital, established as Crosby Memorial Hospital in 1954, was acquired by Forrest General Hospital in 2006. The purchase will lead to an expansion of healthcare services in the area, as well as the recruitment of additional physicians, which will result in the growth of jobs and career opportunities over time.
