Steve Grimm Bio

Steve Grimm has served as Administrator and Chief Executive Officer of Highland Community Hospital (formerly Crosby Memorial Hospital) since 2001. Highland Community Hospital is a 95-bed, full-service acute care medical facility.

Mr. Grimm completed his degree in Business Administration and an Executive Fellowship Program at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Grimm has since served on the executive level in the health care industry and had an extensive career in the United States Army as a Green Beret. His military accomplishments include being awarded a Silver Star, a Combat Infantry Badge, a Purple Heart and a Parachute Badge.

Grimm’s health care career has included serving as Chief Executive Officer at various hospitals, including Summit Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, North Georgia Medical Center in Elijay, Georgia, Riverwest Medical Center in Plaquemine, Louisiana, South Seminole Hospital in Longwood, Florida, and South Lake Memorial Hospital in Clermont, Florida.

Grimm has been named as a Fellow to the American College of Healthcare Executives and served on the Board of Trustees for the Florida Hospital Association. He has served as President of the local Kiwanis Club and on the Board of Directors for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
